We drove down Friday for their Pumpkin festival- very neat small town. The locals were very friendly and accommodating. We were able to find free parking on a side street close to the festival but there were plenty of $5-$10 parking options also which I thought was fair. The festival was way, way bigger than i expected but most of it was food truck/ venders. The most I have ever seen at a festival or fair in Ohio. We enjoyed looking at the pumpkins and displays but I thought there would be a lot more fall/ pumpkin displays - things to do than there actually was. There were a decent amount of merchandise venders to buy from. They had rides for all ages but it was $30 for a pass and the rides were not all in one area they spread them out. They did have a very nice parade Friday night. It was a neat place to see and if you’re looking for food options it’s a definite must. But for me it’s probably a one time trip (we drive 2.5 hours to go there).

We came on a Thursday because I heard things get really crowded on the weekends. Still, for a Thursday, there were a lot of people. Close parking is hard to find unless you come early or you want to pay $20 at the nearby lots. If you are into food, this is the festival to go to. I go to a lot of festivals, and this is the most food trucks I ever recall seeing. A wide variety of food and a lot of it is pumpkin flavored. I had the pumpkin and cranberry bratwurst with pumpkin barbecue sauce. Not bad. I followed that up with a pumpkin waffle. They have the big pumpkins on display as well as other pumpkins decorating the main area in town. We also toured the art building. They displayed local photos and artwork. This is a BIG festival.

This has been on my bucket list for years, I was disappointed, I imagined that this event would be on a big pumpkin farm with beautiful fall decorations. The event is held in the downtown streets it includes carnival rides, games and every type of carnival food that you can think of. Venders are set up as well and the prices on most everything was ridiculous. Parking is $20 and restrooms are few and far in between.

The Circleville Pumpkin Show is a great event put on every year for the last 117 years. I haven’t been going quite that long but I try to go every chance I get. Amazing and unique food and pumpkin everything!! I am not a fan of the off the wall pumpkin foods but I highly recommend the pumpkin cheesecake and the pumpkin brownies. They also have normal fair foods as well, if you don’t care for or care to partake in the crazy pumpkin foods. Overall it’s one of the best events/fair/festivals in Ohio and I can’t wait until next year’s pumpkin show.

If you want to see the biggest pumpkin imaginable or a pie large enough to feed the entire family, this is the place! They've got rides, games, food, fun, parades, bands, arts and crafts, and it's free to get in! You may find parking a little challenging, but it's worth it to experience a festival that's set up right in downtown Circleville. I recommend planning on about 2 to 3 hours to walk around and see everything. Longer if you plan on riding rides! If you are able to make it earlier in the day, it's a lot less crowded. Even though the traffic gets a little crazy at times, the Pumpkin Show has become one of my favorite things about living in Circleville!

It's really more food vendors than pumpkin shell or other activities yes they do have a little small concerts or people singing or dancing but they do have rides but there's tons of food vendors so if you like what I call Carny food this is the place for you

Small town festivals are the best festivals! I have loved the Pumpkin Show since I was a little kid so it was fun to go back. I highly recommend this event.

This was more of a fair than a pumpkin show. This was fine, but the name is misleading. I was hoping to grab some top tier pumpkins and go home. Once there though I had to partake in the rides for kids kids etc. Again this was not an issue it was simply frustrating because I didn't plan accordingly. Next time I'll do a better job of knowing what I'm walking into.
