Amazing Products and customer service was outstanding. I called to ask about product and these guys were able to breakdown and explain the difference between what I had originally set out to purchase and what I needed and how much better it would work for me and why. I felt comfortable after my order was complete. On top of that my order was shipped and received in about 1-2 days. I am very happy and will be ordering again. I also recommend this company if you are looking to purchase quality wood for your project. My project was a staff for martial arts. They really helped thank you again.

Professional Refinisher here for over 32 years. I was using Frank’s for about 15 years and had an issue with a small sheet of cane. The cane was heavily damaged and broken in multiple areas. They offered to replace it but I already ordered from a different supplier. I figured the replacement would be the same poor quality. The new supplier sent me a pristine sheet with zero breaks or strands that needed trimming , as I always have to do from Frank’s. It’s almost as if Frank’s sells damaged or irregular products. My new supplier is like night and day. The products (cane and spline) are of a better quality and packaged professionally!

I recently ordered a good deal of rattan from franks for SCA combat. The rattan that was delivered was all under the ordered size of 1 1/4" (it was all 1") I tried several times to contact franks about it but got no response. After a month I put a claim into PayPal to stop payment. I got a call a day later from Mike Frank accusing me of trying to get my way by bullying. I agreed to drop the claim, send the rattan back and he told me he would send me a new, correct batch. I sent it back and almost another month passed. I called but could not get a hold of Mike. A couple of days later I received a refund, less 60 dollar for the shipping on the order they messed up. They have lost my business and I urge others to be very careful dealing with Franks.

We had several chairs repaired at Frank's - not inexpensive. One hand-caned rocker seat failed within about 18 months of repair. OK, sometimes materials fail, or craftsmen make errors, so we took it in for inspection. When we talked to Mr Frank he accused us of abusing the chair by standing on the seat (of a rocking chair?) or allowing an obese person to sit in it (definitely not true). He was arrogant and rude, accused us of lying, and offered no help, not even to re-do it at cost. Bad experience, poor customer relations. We'll never go there again.

I’m a professional restorer for 30+ years and have been using Frank’s for about 15 years. I received a piece of sheet cane and several strands were broken. I called Frank’s and was told they don’t give refunds and send some pictures. I called after a couple days as they never responded to my email. I was told told by Mike that the caning is most definitely usable according to his standards.There’s no way I’m using it in a chair seat that I’m charging $250 ! So, I ordered it from another supplier that has the shipping cost less than half of what Frank’s charges. That’s another issue is the the shipping is almost as much as the product.

I ordered some hard to find Calcutta bamboo to make some gaff hooks and the product I received was perfect for what i needed. Their customer service was very good also. I will definitely be using them again.

Great customer service, could answer my questions, fair shipping prices, quality products at a GREAT price. Called in my order from out of state and had no qualms about doing business with them. Mom and pop style place, not quickie Amazon style, so it might be a couple days, but they will get you taken care of. Had what I needed for a weekend project, knew when to expect it. Great job guys!

Ordered from Florida. Immediate, professional, helpful service on a phone call. Questions were answered, order was placed with no fuss, 3" diameter bamboo poles showed up at my home.
This kind of personal attention, no-hassle management of the order, and truly unbelievable quality bamboo was amazing.
