The old building housing Ross Dress for Less on S Broadway is a charming blend of historic architecture. Its unique facade adds character to the bustling street, making visiting there a delightful experience. A great spot that captures the essence of old downtown LA! I didn't go into the shop.

Pretty well-stocked with clothing and accessories. Two levels of shopping. Strict security to control shoplifting which must be a big problem in California. Found some good deals on clothes we neglected to pack for this trip.

When you enter the store, there is a security guide who will be checking your bags but they are quick to let you in. Two floors with women’s clothing on the ground level, and men’s clothing, kids’ toys, and household items are on the lower level. Escalator was non-operational when we went so only stairs were available. Prices are good on the branded products.

Passed by on a Tuesday at 7, the “security guard” said they were closed. I asked don’t tell close at 8? He said yes but the lights are off….
Clearly unreliable and they close at whatever time they want. Sucks if you really needed to get something for some last minute shopping…

The store’s posted hours say it closes at 8 PM, but when I arrived around 7 PM, they were already asking customers to pay up as they planned to close in 15 minutes. I wanted to use the fitting rooms, but they had apparently been closed since 5 PM. The store itself felt dimly lit and unwelcoming. While the prices are reasonable, the overall customer experience leaves much to be desired.

It was my 1st time there with my daughter. It has a lower floor with the kids items! I was surprised. It was clean and stocked. There was a delay when entering and I wasn't sure why. It wasn't crowded and it was distracting. I had fun with my daughter and both grandsons ages 3.5 and 2. I will be back on my next visit to LA
