I absolutely love this place! It's my go-to spot for a fun and relaxing night out. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. The theater is rarely crowded, so it's easy to find a good seat and enjoy the movie without distractions. Seats are pre-selected when you buy the ticket and they check to make sure you're in the right seat, so you don't have to kick someone out.
I especially appreciate the monthly pass, which allows me to go twice a month but could easily go every day if I wanted to! It's the perfect way to indulge in my love of movies without breaking the bank.
If you're looking for a great date night spot or just a fun night out with friends, I highly recommend checking out the Alamo Drafthouse. You won't be disappointed!

I debated whether to rate this a 3 or a 4, but went with a 4 because they do so many fun things. Good assortment of beer and food that you can order from your seat and it's nice to be able to summon a waiter during the movie. They show old and unusual movies that you don't see elsewhere. Watch parties, and even freebies if you sign up for email. The con is the seats. They're old and don't recline and the aisles are narrow. But the pros (fun) outweigh that con.

We visited for an early afternoon show on a Tuesday for a movie that had been open a while. The theater was mostly empty, which we loved, and our waiter was simply charming. Although we did not order food, we noticed that the theater was clean, comfortable, and provided a fun movie experience. We had the best seats in the house which was pretty great. I would definitely return here again.

Server was Awesome!!! *Marcel*was kind and accommodating. Didn't make me feel bad Bout My awkward/Bipolar/ADD -self. Lol picture/sound/presentation was Top Notch. Ticket Counter *young Female* was fast, friendly and Awesome Too. Got the pretzel w/queso. Excellent. A tad too salty, but just brush that off. Flavor was Fantastico!!
Movie was Tales from The Crypt DEMON KNIGHT ? a Great Time for myself, and less than twenty I'd say for the 10:45 showing. Psycho Cinema + Alamo Drafthouse ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

This place is outstanding. Tickets are about $14. Popcorn is about $10 comes in a huge metal bowl and is bottomless. Just push a button and it's delivered to your seat in 2 minutes. Also the chips and melted cheese is also bottomless. I recommend getting a bottle of red wine for $36 as the mixed drinks have little to no alcohol in them and they are around $9 to $12. The seats are very comfortable. But it's very dark inside. And some tables have dimighrs that do not work. So it's impossible to see your menu.

Great little setup, great happy hour pricing, especially on the appetizers. The bottomless popcorn was excellent with the added butter, and the loaded fries were fantastic. It's an older version though, so it doesn't have the comfy reclining sofa seats like Potomac Town Center.

Good food with vegan options. The bar has many drinks options. The holiday menu is excellent. Great place to come for happy hour.
Movie theater experience with food being served is typically good. The system of order cards bells are efficient. If you plan to eat in theater, remember to get there early. You can also order food at the bar and take it inside (but drink refills won't work).
The Plaza across from the theater has good Christmas decorations and play area for kids. Lots of fun for younger kids and families. Good for others to walk around and explore the other restaurants, ice cream shops in the area.

The Alamo is an inconsistent experience. Most of the time, it's a pleasant time at the movies, but there are some times when another movie-goer ruins the show by talking or texting. This location is not very consistent when it comes to enforcing their rules. I've had a few occasions where I witnessed someone get kicked out, but I've also had more times where someone talking the entire length of the movie does not get kicked out. They also don't tell people to turn off their phone's flashlight feature when reading the menu. I get that it's dark, but those people should be warned, and I also think that Alamo could provide slightly brighter under the counter lights as the ones in there really aren't bright enough most of time. The food is good, but it's overpriced for what you get (and you could save money by getting better food for less by going out to eat before or after your movie).
