I went to the Orlando Tattoo Show and had an incredible experience! The tattoo I got is a total masterpiece, and the artists there were seriously top-tier. I saw some comments about the music being loud, but to be honest, that's just part of the energy at events like this – it really adds to the vibe. I actually found out about the event from a billboard on my way to work, and I’m so glad I went! The food was decent, though nothing fancy, but I wasn’t expecting gourmet at a tattoo show. Overall, the event was well worth it if you’re serious about getting some high-quality ink. It was easy to check out the booths and chat with the artists, who were all super talented. Definitely a must for any tattoo enthusiast looking for amazing work!

I attended the tattoo show last weekend, and it was a fantastic experience! The artists were incredibly talented, showcasing a wide range of styles and techniques. The atmosphere of the show was lively and engaging, with a great vibe throughout the weekend .Whether you were there for a new tattoo or just to admire the artwork, there was something for everyone. Overall, a well-organized event with top-tier talent—definitely worth attending!

I’d give them a 0 if I could. My group drove 8 hours and spent hundreds of dollars on the convention fees, supplies, food, lodging, etc just to twiddle our thumbs in the loudest environment I’ve ever been in in my life.
There was NO foot traffic. There was no advertising. There was no organization from the convention as far as parking, registration, booth placements, contests, all the way down to just getting something printed. This was not a show for artists. It was a show to make money off of our booth fees.
And besides all of that, the absolute worst part was the volume of the front stage. We looked at the decibels from when the host had the mike and it was equivalent to a motorcycle’s engine next to your ear. Getting up and over 120 db which is shown to do permanent damage to your ears. And it was ALL WEEKEND. Artists were leaving every night with headaches, migraines, so sensory overloaded that some were sick in the parking lot. Kids were crying, we couldn’t hear the words coming out of our own mouths, much less hear each other and our clients. Complaints were ignored. Most artists started packing up early leaving as early as Saturday. Sunday some artist were just straight up turning the speakers off. It was a nightmare.
And speaking of kids, there were kids here. Which is fine, besides the fact that there was a huge table of sexy toys out, and a man had his whole nut sac out getting tattooed.
Sanitation was a joke, especially with the cloth wrist bands that we couldn’t take off, but god forbid we have food or drinks in our booths. Our poor clients couldn’t bring a bag in bigger than small wallet. I heard someone wasn’t let in because of their medication? But dogs are ok. Please make it make sense.
Over all, horrible experience for the artists, and for the people coming in wanting to get tattooed. But the show made its money off of us so their social medias will portray it to have been a successful weekend. We will not be back. And I’m sorry to myself and every other artist that lost money on this joke of a convention.

Setting up and managing a huge event like this is never easy and always overwhelming but I’m grateful for all the love and support received, all the smiles, kind words, hugs, jokes, craziness. Thankful for all the learning and for surviving this challenge, I can’t wait for next year, to evolve and improve, because we should always choose to be better, no matter the obstacles, there is no learning without mistakes and we can always be better!
Congrats to all the OTS team, the vendors, venue staff, to everyone making an effort to spread love instead of hate, to all the winners and all the artist that participated this weekend on this great convention!l

I attended as an artist and when I arrived I found out my booth had been stolen by another artist. (This also happened to multiple others) instead of telling the artists who stole booths to leave they put the artists who arrived on Friday wherever they could. I ended up in a space that wasn’t even meant to be a booth, smaller than what I paid for and it initially didn’t have electricity which tells me nobody was supposed to tattoo there. I drove 16 hrs to be here and spent the last several months working on flash, art and merch for this event. Nobody offered to refund me the difference in my booth space and I’m very upset I didn’t get what I paid for. I’ll never be back and I’ll never recommend this convention.

If I could give -5 stars I totally would. I’ve been attending tattoo conventions as a client for almost a decade and this is my 3rd convention I’ve worked at as an artist, so I’m quite familiar with how they work. This was by far the worst tattoo convention I have ever been to.
The only reason me and my friends applied to work it was because of Sadfam’s anime takeover. I should’ve known the moment they backed out that this show was gonna be hot garbage but we attended anyways because we couldn’t get a refund. Absolutely do not trust these people, all they want is your money and to give you tinnitus.
The amount of foot traffic was embarrassing and definitely not worth the 8-9 hr drive we took. I only sold stickers, I didn’t make a single penny on a tattoo because the lack of foot traffic was absolutely insane. If they turned off the obnoxiously loud music/mic, you would probably just hear that stupid drone. I can write a grocery list of other stuff that happened but you can read the other reviews for that. Just know they’re greedy, they’re nasty, and they don’t care about your wellbeing.
I didn’t think it was possible to screw up THAT bad. My ears are still ringing and my voice is gone from screaming so people could hear me over the music. The only thing that kept us from just packing up and leaving on Saturday was the fact that we trauma bonded with so many artists and made so many new friends. We are never coming back. They need to issue a refund to everyone but I know they won’t.

I purchased a triple booth meant for 6 artists, and found out during registration that our booth space was taken by someone else the night before. Instead of moving those people out of our space, they put us in a corner of the convention with half the space we paid for (it was in the middle of an aisle). Apparently a mario kart race was more important than tattoo artists who paid to be there.
On the second day, a person played drums poorly on stage for over an hour at max volume, and a band would chime in to play “i shot the sheriff” MULTIPLE times. it was the only song they knew apparently.
The list goes on and on, i would never attend again. Left early Sunday morning since there was no foot traffic anyway.
